Often there is a lot of different plants that you can buy - and theres lots of information on the internet that you can find saying the easiest plants to keep alive etc, so here's a little handy guide if you have a small space and want to start a small plant collection.
Easy to care for
The above plants require very little care, and are a great addition to any space, as you could just keep them on the edge of a bookcase or on a side table.

So if you or a household member is prone to dust allergies, this plant can be the answer to your woes. It also eliminates small amounts of formaldehyde and carbon monoxide from the air.
Finally the fishbone cactus, it isn't air purifying - but it does make up for its striking leaf structure, and the way it hangs down. it's great in a hanging basket, or a macrame hanging pot - it also looks great on top of a bookshelf as the leaves trail down.
