Tradescantia Nanouk

Originally from Mexico, these fantastic "jungle-like" plants are becoming increasingly popular across the world. Their fleshy foliage is a particularly rich deep purple and their trailing habit  make them exceptional plants for both hanging baskets, rockeries, and tropical borders. They are an easy care plant, suitable as a gift or for a beginner. Tradescantia come in such a range of beautiful varieties there's sure to be one for you!  A gorgeous variety of tradescatia "Nanouk" has beautiful bright purple, pink and cream striped leaves with thick fleshy vines, a real fast grower! 

How to care for your tradescantia

Water: Can be prone to root rot so allow to dry out between waterings, water less so in winter. 

Light: Keep in bright indirect light, the brighter the more colour you will see on the leaves. 

Humidity: They enjoy humidity but it is not required. 

Temperature: Needs average to warm conditions 16-25°C but will be OK down to 10°C for short periods.
