Operations Assistant - June 2024

Are you looking for a hands-on role where your organisational skills can shine? Do you have an affinity for houseplants and the desire to ensure top-notch quality? if yes, you may be the person for us!

We're on the lookout for a proactive, detail-oriented individual to join our operations team. In this job you will be working directly with one of the largest range of tropical houseplants in one of the largest collections in England.

Job Type: Part Time or Full Time

Hours: Monday - Thursday (8:30am-4:30pm) with potential to extend.

Your Duties:

  • Vigilantly monitor the quality of plants before packing.
  • Play an integral role in the goods in process, checking stock and booking in new deliveries.
  • Champion operational efficiencies and maintain high standards.
  • Precision in dispatching customer orders, staying true to deadlines.
  • Work collaboratively to propel the business forward.
  • Assist in plant care, stock taking, plant picking and propagation.

      • While a love for plants and horticulture is a plus, professional experience isn't a requirement. What we value most is a can-do attitude, someone who is a natural problem solver, organisational excellence, and an ability to work quickly and efficiently.
        Beneficial - 

        Someone who has worked in picking and packing or in a warehouse environment. However this is not essential as full training will be given.
