Senecio Herreianus String of Teardrops
String of Teardrops
Senecio Herreianus 'String of Teardrops' is a senecio hybrid similar to 'String of Pearls' except the leaves have a more pronounced "teardrop" shape. Native to Southwest Africa, is a fast growing, trailing succulent - its pendant stems, with pearl-like leaves, can reach as long as 90cm.
How to care for your String of Teardrops
String of teardrops likes bright light, with some direct sunlight, and can survive long periods without water. Water from the bottom, using a saucer, once every fortnight – watering too often can increase the chances of root rot. If planted in a pot with no drainage holes, simply mist thoroughly.
Pot size: 9cm
