Variegated Adansonii Adansonii Aurea
This rare plant needs no introduction to the seasoned plant collector: a sought after Variegated Monstera Adansonii Aurea plant. This particular plant we are offering has five leaves with very good variegation and is a well established plant approximately 17cm in height.
What makes this plant unique from the traditional Adansonii is the exquisite mottled leaves ranging from green to yellow to cream. Due to the nature of this plant, it requires bright but indirect light and moist, well-draining soil. This is a vining plant which makes it perfect in any room.
How to care for your Variegated Monstera Adansonii
This plant is not recommended if you are a beginner. Please look at all the photos carefully as this is the plant you will be receiving.
Water: It is important to keep the soil moist, but well drained to avoid root rot.
Light: They require bright but indirect sunlight. This plant requires more light because of its variegation. More light is required because it has less chlorophyll than other plants. The white and yellow splashes are not able to absorb as much light as their darker cousins. Take care not to expose to direct sunlight as leaves will scorch.
Humidity: They appreciate humidity.
Temperature: Not too hot and not too cold! The ideal temperature range is between 19C and 26c.
