Alocasia comes from the family Araceae. There are 79 species native to tropical and subtropical Asia to Eastern Australia. This is a unique and rare form of a classic species. Also known as Buddha's hand, Alocasia Cucullata is believed to bring good fortune and they can be found in Buddhist temples across its native range.
