This species earns its 'longiloba' name from its distinctive elongated 'ear lobes' and uniquely shaped leaves. The remarkable variant, Longiloba 'Silver,' stands out but is seldom found in circulation. Originating from South-East Asia, it's a rare gem among its kind!

This is even better in the flesh than in the photos. Beautiful plant, in great condition. It is in my south-facing window (back from it and behind a fine white net curtain) and with a grow light to the other side that covers another group of plants. The largest leaf was turning towards the light but I think now it's more or less facing the grow light it's settled on that. I will review the location in the spring, when longer days and more sun will probably make that location unsuitable, but for now it seems quite content.
