about this plant

This species earns its 'longiloba' name from its distinctive elongated 'ear lobes' and uniquely shaped leaves. The remarkable variant, Longiloba 'Silver,' stands out but is seldom found in circulation. Originating from South-East Asia, it's a rare gem among its kind!

keeping it happy

Light Loves a bright spot near a window, without midday sun landing on the leaves.
Water Water when the top few centimetres of soil feel dry.
Humidity Happiest with real humidity. Bathrooms and plant cabinets work well.
Warmth Keep above 15°C. Normal room temperature suits it.

Gorgeous

This is even better in the flesh than in the photos. Beautiful plant, in great condition. It is in my south-facing window (back from it and behind a fine white net curtain) and with a grow light to the other side that covers another group of plants. The largest leaf was turning towards the light but I think now it's more or less facing the grow light it's settled on that. I will review the location in the spring, when longer days and more sun will probably make that location unsuitable, but for now it seems quite content.

She’s doing great

Bought as part of a birthday present, arrived in lovely condition (aside from a little dryness around the edges) and is doing very well so far

VERY DISAPOINTED!!

I expect more from that price plant than for it to arrive with only one leaf that has been bent. this looks more like a rescue plant than a full price one but then there a few in this order that are very disappointing and this seems to be happening more and more with house of kojo

Hi Philip,

I’m really sorry to hear this.

These plants do have one leaf, and this is visible on the website listing.

In regard to the damage, would you be able to send us a picture of this so
that we can offer an appropriate resolution for this?

ONE stem and a leaf with HOLES in it

What a poor example. I expect more for that type and price point. One leaf and one stem and to top it all the leaf had a hole in it as well. This seems to be a theam with HoK at the moment that the quality, customer service and quality control are non existent. POOR VERY POOR!

Huge plant with no pests

Huge plant with no pests or damage. The difference in colours between the new leaves and the older ones is amazing. Glad I added this one to my collection.
