about this plant

A relatively new Alocasia variety with large, steely blue leaves and deep purple undersides, native to the Philippines.

The leaves are thick, waxy, and glossy, featuring a blue-green hue with striking white veins. They are large, arrow-shaped, and have serrated edges. Often referred to as the "Kris plant" due to the leaf's wavy margins, resembling the traditional kris sword.

Absolutely stunning been after this one for a while. Arrived safely and well packaged the heat pad was still warm on arrival. Plants are healthy and now sitting amongst the rest of the alocasia

I am so very pleased with this one. Have been searching for one of these for years. Delighted to finally grow one. In an ideal world I’d have chosen a slightly more elongated plant shape - but ho hum; she may grow into herself as she matures...
