Dracaena goldieana

The Dracaena goldieana, often referred to as the Zebra Plant or Banded Dracaena, hails from the lush rainforests of West Africa, specifically Cameroon and Ghana. This captivating species, discovered in the late 1800s, bears the name of William Goldie, an esteemed Scottish botanist and explorer.

Unlike its towering Dracaena cousins, D. goldieana maintains a more modest stature, rarely exceeding 60-90 cm in height when grown indoors.
