Hoya Mathilde Splash
Hoya Mathilde Splash or Wax Plant as they are sometimes called are easy to look after, in fact the less you do the less you do the better. The plant has fleshy leaves and produces clusters of fragrant white or pink waxy flowers. This guy is beautifully attached to a climbing frame. Hoya is a great choice for a gift as they are super easy going, would also be well suited to someone with a busy lifestyle.
Hoya ‘Mathilde’ is a hybrid of Hoya carnosa and Hoya serpens. It has showy, glossy silver-flecked leaves.

The plant is as beautiful as I had hoped. Arrived with plenty of roots and probably ready for a pot upgrade, which I was hoping to do anyway. There is quite a bit of scarring on the underside of the leaves and I did find some dead scale bugs, but the plant seems to have been pest free since removing those so I can’t complain. Overall happy with my new Hoya Splash!

This one is a slow grower for me. Took its time to acclimate, but, is starting to take off now.
