Trailing Peperomia

Peperomia 'Pepperspot' is a compact, vining plant known for its small, round, green leaves that emerge on slender red stems. This combination of foliage and stem colour creates a striking visual contrast. 

Native to Peperomia 'Pepperspot' originates from the tropical rainforests of South and Central America, where it thrives as an epiphyte under the canopy of larger trees.

Water Allow the soil to dry out between waterings. During the growing season, water moderately, ensuring the potting mix is moist but not waterlogged. In winter, reduce watering frequency. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it's crucial to avoid letting the plant sit in excess water.

Light Provide bright, indirect light to maintain healthy growth. While it can tolerate medium light levels, insufficient light may cause leggy growth. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.

Humidity Prefers moderate humidity levels, ideally between 50-60%. Regular misting can help maintain humidity, especially during dry periods. Ensure good air circulation to prevent fungal issues.

Temperature Thrives in typical indoor temperatures ranging from 18-24°C. Protect the plant from cold drafts and avoid placing it near sources of direct heat, such as radiators, to prevent stress.
