Alocasia suhirmaniana 'Red Petiole' is a rare plant from the Araceae family, known for its bold foliage. It has glossy, dark green leaves with striking light veins, growing smaller indoors than in the wild, where they can reach 80 cm. The leaf undersides are deep purple, and the stems (petioles) are bright red, giving the plant a distinctive look.

A really healthy plant from the start. Not a plant I had my eye on but so pleased I got it. Transitioned into semi hydro really well and is now giving monster leaves. 100% recommend this one. I have ordered the purple one now as well!

Lovely little baby plant. It arrived with three leaves and has made a new, shiny one since, though it's still too young to have the really distinctive silver veins just yet as compared to the bigger plants in other photo reviews. I decided to give a baby one a go, as my other Alocasias have survived so far (except one I over watered).

It was so small when it arrived but I could see a new leaf coming and it has just unfurled… SHE IS GORGEOUS! So healthy, shiny and happy. The price is great too and the customer service I’ve had from these guys has always been fantastic. :black_heart:
