Alocasia comes from the family Araceae. There are 79 species native to tropical and subtropical Asia to Eastern Australia. Cuprea have almost alien like leaves! Big shiny ribbed leaves that need to be seen to be believed! They are an extremely decorative plant and will bring a touch of colour to your home! Alocasia have a lovely vintage vibe as they were extremely popular in homes during the 1950's!

I have been wanting one of these for a while and it did not disappoint! It's dark but the metallic reddish pattern is striking especially on the newer leaves. It looks really great alongside the Alocasia azlanii (which is more purple). My plant had three big leaves when I picked it up, and a few days later it started pushing a fourth.
This plant has almost burgundy red metallic leaves. It arrived in a good condition and has developed a new leaf since. Hopefully it will grow well in Alocasia potting mix that I also got in my delivery.

This Alocasia came well packaged, safe snd in the condition shown. Unlike the other two it isnt yet putting out new leaf, but thats not surprising as it had a really new leaf thay was still slightly curled with a very light colour and has since developed very nicely, hardened and is almost to the point of having its mature colours. All three plants are still very healthy and adapting nicely.
