about this plant
A beautiful rare Alocasia hybrid, a cross between Alocasia Sinuata and Alocasia alba. This variety features dark, scale like leaves that are sure to stand out in any room.
Alocasia comes from the family Araceae. There are 79 species native to tropical and subtropical Asia to Eastern Australia. Alocasia Tigrina are an exceptional Alocasia, with angular foliage and a stunning black and white stem! They are an extremely decorative plant and will bring a touch of colour to your home! Alocasia have a lovely vintage vibe as they were extremely popular in homes during the 1950's!

Really beautiful more mature colouring and shine starting to come through on this little beauty! Can’t wait to see the growth during the season as she aclimatises to her new home, I just hope I can do her justice as she arrived in such pristine condition. Can’t fault it, the ordering process through to delivery was faultless and unwrapping better than Christmas. I prefer to order a young plant and watch the growth come through at home, this one is so exciting and can’t wait to see her leaves size up.
