Ctenanthe Burle Marxii Amagris
Ctenanthe Burle Marxii Amagris
Ctenanthe are related to Maranta, Calathea and Stromanthe and are best known for their fantastic leaf patterns! Also known as prayer plants for the way their leaves close up at night. The Ctenanthe Burle Marxii Amagris has lovely long, green, oval leaves with a gorgeous herringbone pattern.
How to care for your Prayer Plant
They dislike direct sunlight. If exposed to direct light, their leaves will fade in colour intensity and often develop blotches or patches. Water from the bottom, using a saucer, twice a week and mist every three days. If planted in a pot with no drainage holes, mist thoroughly over the soil as well as the leaves. Likes moist soil, but take care to not over water. Brown leaf tips indicate that humidity is too low.
