Hoya vangviengiensis is an epiphytic plant discovered in Vang Vieng, Laos, in 2010. It features thick, glossy green leaves and produces clusters of star-shaped, creamy-white flowers with a sweet fragrance.

It grows quickly in tropical-like conditions, thriving with moderate care in bright, indirect light and consistent warmth, making it a great choice for Hoya lovers.

I find it hit and

I find it hit and miss with Hoyas as to whether the roots rot the instant you get them into home conditions. Half this plant's roots rotted, but it's propagating nicely and I'm not concerned at all. The other half is doing well (fingers crossed!) and seems very content in my cabinet. It's a beautiful plant and I can't wait for it to acclimate fully and thrive!
