Native to: The Monkey Tail Cactus comes from the rocky cliffs and dry valleys of the Bolivian Andes. So, it’s used to lots of light and good drainage.

Water: Keep it simple with this cactus – water sparingly and let the soil dry out completely between waterings. Usually, every 2-3 weeks will do the trick. And remember, excellent drainage is a must to avoid root rot.

Light: This plant is a sun lover! It thrives in bright, indirect light and can handle some direct sunlight in the morning or late afternoon. Just avoid that harsh midday sun – it’s a bit too intense. A south or west-facing window is perfect.
