GrowTropicals Orchid Bark (Medium Grade)

Unfortunately wasn't of the same quality shown in the photos, or any 'medium' orchid bark I've purchased elsewhere. Quite damp and more fine then medium.

Good quality orchid bark and my orchids are already showing signs of loving it. The chunks are a nice, consistent size and the bark feels clean and fresh

Nice bark size. Repotted an orchid and within 2 weeks it started a new flower spike. I’m sure it’s a coincidence, but it did make me smile.

Got to say love growtropicals! Everything is always spot on. Not impressed with the quality of medium bark hubby ordered for me though. It's very dark, wet and not like the usual quality. It looks more a mix or fine and medium. Disappointed

Sadly this bark is nothing like the image in the listing. It is much finer and the bark bits are much thinner than pictured with lots of debris inbetween. As a regular customer I am afraid I have to express disappointment. The bark is fine grade at best and will compact with the debris over time. It is not appropriate for phalaenopsis and cattleya. It may just about be ok for some dendrobium and possibly oncidium types but I still would not use it. It will degrade too fast. I added a photo - on the left is GT "medium" grade bark, on the right is medium grade bark from another supplier.
