Tradescantia Yellow Hill
Originally from Mexico, these fantastic "jungle-like" plants are becoming increasingly popular across the world. Their fleshy foliage and their trailing habit make them exceptional plants for both hanging baskets, rockeries, and tropical borders. They are an easy care plant, suitable as a gift or for a beginner. Tradescantia come in such a range of beautiful varieties there's sure to be one for you! A gorgeous variety of Tradescatia "Yellow Hill" has amazingly contrasting green leaves with stripes of yellow and cream throughout, that almost looks hand painted!
How to care for your Tradescantia -
Water: Can be prone to root rot so allow to dry out between waterings, water less so in winter.
Light: Keep in bright indirect light, the brighter the more colour you will see on the leaves.
Humidity: They enjoy humidity but it is not required.
Temperature: Needs average to warm conditions 16-25°C but will be OK down to 10°C for short periods.

The size listed is the diameter of the nursery pot. To ensure your decorative pot fits the plant, ensure the diameter is at least 2cm larger than the nursery pot size.

All of the plants at House of Kojo are sold with our live arrival guarantee, which guarantees the health of every plant that we deliver. Our team of passionate plant people takes pride and care in protecting each plant to ensure their safe arrival.
Should you encounter any issues with an order, simply contact our customer support team at info@houseofkojo.com within 7 days of receiving your order. To streamline the process please provide your order number, full name and several clear photos of the damaged plant.
If the plant is damaged and you wish to return it, we will collect the plant at our cost, and issue a full refund. Please note this can take up to 7 days to appear in your bank account.
Please be aware that refunds will not be processed after the guarantee period. This is because we can not guarantee the care and environment the plant has been kept in. Repotting your plant within this time frame will also void our guarantee.
Remember: plants are a product of Nature. Therefore, they will always exhibit natural variations in colours, shapes and even spots. Our guarantee does not cover these natural variations and imperfections.
House of Kojo will not be responsible for products mishandled by customers. It is the customer's responsibility to know how to properly care for the products they are ordering.
House of Kojo cannot accept claims or returns of plants where customers have re-potted, removed from their original pots or pruned.
House of Kojo cannot be responsible for quality of plants in the event of a missed delivery by the customer or by contact details or addresses entered incorrectly during the ordering process. Our guarantee does not cover parcels that have been left in an outdoor setting by DPD at the customers request.
Due to the perishable nature of the goods House of Kojo cannot issue refunds on plants returned to us due to multiple missed deliveries or non collection from DPD Pickup Shops.
Repeated Returns
We offer a return and refund policy, we also monitor the number of returns made by customers and continued returns in breach of our terms and conditions will be flagged and may at our discretion lead to the closure of your account of future orders being refused.
Missing Plants
In the event that part of your order is missing, notify us immediately by email. House of Kojo will check to verify the packing of your box. If there is a discrepancy, House of Kojo will reimburse the customer the value of the missing items or replace the item.
Payment and Cancellations
Card payments are charged at the moment of placing the order. Approved claims will be credited back to the charge card after the complaint is settled. Any cancellation may be subject to a processing fee of 20% of your total bill. No cancellations will be accepted 5 days prior to your delivery date. At that time orders will already be scheduled with the auctions and growers and will not be available for sale to other customers.
Delivery & Collection
How much does delivery cost?
Plant delivery is £6.99 to UK, Tracked Delivery via DPD. Currently we cannot deliver to outside of the UK. Shipping to Northern Ireland is £10.99 and the Channel Islands is £15.99. Delivery is free on orders over £50. Unfortunately we cannot offer free delivery over £50 to Northern Ireland or the Channel Islands.
Delivery on orders only containing gift vouchers or greeting cards is free.
When are your delivery days?
We ship plants Monday to Thursday for delivery Tuesday to Friday. We do not currently deliver on the weekend. Orders made from Thursday afternoon onwards will be dispatched the following Monday. Orders are aimed to be dispatched within 3-7 working days, once dispatched they are delivered next day tracked via DPD. Short delays may occur.

How long does delivery take?
Orders are aimed to be dispatched within 3-7 working days Mon-Thur. Once dispatched parcels are delivered next day via DPD to the UK. On the rare occasion there are any delays to your order you will be notified asap.
Do you ship in winter?
We ship right through winter. We include heat packs where necessary but when temperatures fall below zero, we halt shipping of all plants. Typically this is only for a day or so at a time but it may end up being for an extended period if the weather is particularly bad.
Do you deliver to the USA?
Currently we do not, we can only deliver to the UK.
Is your packaging recyclable?
All of our packing is made from recycled materials and can also be recycled. Our packing peanuts are made from starch, they are biodegradable and can be dissolved in water or composted.
Click & Collect
Orders are available for free same day click & collect from our unit, if you would like click & collect please drop us an email at info@houseofkojo.com after you place your order and we can refund the delivery cost and arrange collection.
How do I collect?
You can collect from our unit at Unit C1, Burley Hill Trading Estate, Leeds, LS4 2PU. Our times for collection are Monday-Friday between 10am and 5pm. Please be aware collection will not be available outside of those times.
When do I collect?
Your order will be ready for collection same day. If you want to collect on a specific day, please mention this in your email.
How will I know my order has been processed?
You will receive an email to confirm your order has been processed.
How will I know when my order has been dispatched?
You will receive a confirmation email to let you know when your order has been dispatched.
What do I do if nobody is home at the time of delivery?
If you know you will not be home on the day of delivery please contact DPD directly through your tracking details where you can instruct them to leave in a safe place, with a neighbour or at a local pickup point.
